I know your time is precious, so I’ll make this quick ⬇

1. I analyze the language people use and the concepts they have.

People weren’t understanding our terminology, but all our research around terminology was based on responses to how we described the product.
I co-designed a research study to get people to describe our product without cueing from the wording in our own materials.

Now we can design experiences with wording that’s intuitive and feels natural.

2. I design digital conversations that guide people to their objectives.

People were excited about the what the product could do for them, but the onboarding was a heavy lift.

By the time they got to the hardest part, they had lost momentum and forgotten the promise of better things to come.

I rewrote the onboarding using a conversational design model to support people through each step and decision.

3. I partner with my team to create things that actually do make life a little less stressful, and hopefully a little more magical.

Bedtime can be sweet for parents, but it can also be a bit of a nightmare. Our team worked collaboratively and iteratively to create something that defuses the post-work and post-school stress-bomb that is getting kids ready for bed:

dynamic, audio-based, get-ready-for-bed adventures.

We’re working on simplifying the creation process now, with some of the work you see above.
